With the arrival of a new section of the Autobahn, the last section of the route to Winterberg was significantly shortened. The village of Altastenberg is at an altitude of 800 meters, making it the highest village in this snow-sure part of the Wintersport Arena Sauerland. With the modern snow cannons, Altastenberg guarantees a long and safe ski season. In recent years, more than 2 million euros have been invested in these snow systems and the versatile area now offers 17 perfectly groomed slopes, which can be reached with 8 (chair) lifts. A completely new chairlift was opened in winter 19/20, 1km ride from your apartment. This lift connects directly to the extensive ski area of the popular Winterberg. The search for a parking space in the lively center of Winterberg is therefore no longer necessary!

These ski areas are all located in the Winterberg region and together offer 97 runs, 75 ski lifts with a total of 65 km of ski slopes. Something for everyone!
